Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the Tennessee River in Paris TN at the State Park.

Time

It was around mid-day. It was Spring time so the water hadn't quite warmed up yet but it was a beautiful day. The wind was just right and the sun was just bright and warm enough as well.

Lighting

The original photo itself was beautiful but once I changed the color to black and white , I felt it set the mood quite better for the setting of this picture. I felt it brought it more to life.

Equipment

I actually forgot my camera on this trip, this picture was taken using the camera on my iPhone 6s.!

Inspiration

I was sitting there on the rocks with my daughter , watching the waves of the river as they kept coming in, and the wind was blowing, I looked over at her and just thought that she looked so at peace, so I took the photo.

Editing

I just changed it from color to black and white, that's all.

In my camera bag

I normally carry my Nikon.

Feedback

Capture from the heart. Don't overthink it.
