While I went out this night to specifically capture the occultation of Venus by the Moon, I almost was unsuccessful in capturing it. I had everything set up and was positioned for the Moon to rise right above the mountains. I did not get to witness Venus passing behind the Moon but I was lucky enough to witness it exiting from the other side. It was quite a treat to watch.
