Learning more about my "multi-exposure" image process and am playing with "stacking" images in addition to my HDR process. Seems to be working nicely on my first test subject... definitely more contrasts, shadows, highlights and richer colors.
This image is the "DC Canal Lockhouse" on the corner of 17th and Constitution Ave. NW. A couple weeks after our Blizzard of 2016, I went to take photos of Downtown and as I passed this often overlooked building, I noticed on the adjacent curb was a huge snow pile with a hole melted in the top. As I climbed (and fell) my way to the top, many looked at me like I was crazy (43 yr old guy climbing on a snow mound like a kid). Once a few people saw what I was doing, there was a steady stream of people doing the same thing with their iPhones for at least 15 minutes after. — at Washington, DC.
