This photo was taken on an outing with the family. I am a new self-taught photographer so it was exciting to see this come out the way I envisioned.Time

I wanted the viewer to see the many colors in the feathers of this duck. They were so vibrant, and I absolutely loved the green around his neck.Equipment

Lighting is always the best and worse enemy. Too much or too little lighting can make or break any photo. Natural lighting, like this photo, has to be captured at just the right moment. Have patience, keep trying and you will get it.
