Thanks everyone. This was one of the first photos I took that I was really proud of. LOL I can definitely see a small amount of improvement over the years.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on an outing with the family. I am a new self-taught photographer so it was exciting to see this come out the way I envisioned.

Time

This was about noonish. I remember it because we stopped at a food cart selling hotdogs for lunch. We were looking for the perfect place for a picinic

Lighting

I wanted the viewer to see the many colors in the feathers of this duck. They were so vibrant, and I absolutely loved the green around his neck.

Equipment

This was taken with a fujifilm camera I purchased in Japan. No other equipment added, just The standard camera.

Inspiration

The colors of the water and the duck. How it was swimming closer and closer without fear. It was as if it was teaching me to step out and embrace life without fear.

Editing

I am still very new to photography and this was one my very first photos. I did not do any post processing

In my camera bag

At the moment, just the camera and an open mind. I find that playing around with the cameras features and various other options can really give you the chance to know your camera.

Feedback

Lighting is always the best and worse enemy. Too much or too little lighting can make or break any photo. Natural lighting, like this photo, has to be captured at just the right moment. Have patience, keep trying and you will get it.
