this photo was taken in Lusaka, Zambia.... i couldnt do this shoot in the studio cause it would mess up the studio and the studio wasnt mine so we opted to do the shoot late in the evenings in one of the streets in my neighbor_hoodTime
we did this shoot earlier this year, 3rd feb, 2016. between 7pm and 8pmLighting
used two speedlites in softboxes one to the left infront of the model to light her up and one to the right behind the model to give some rim lightEquipment
Shoot using a Nikon D7000, with a 18-135mm kit lens, and two speedlites in softboxesInspiration
as an up coming photographer, every once in a while i do experiments based on work that other people have do, and the thought of working with powder to create this imagine was quite exciting so i went for it.... overall my inspiration was the desire to learn through experimentingEditing
post processing was very minimal just adding a gradient in photoshop to add color to the hair and powderIn my camera bag

make sure your equipment covered and do not throw the powder towards the models face.... and have fun :)
