My daughter is in love with the kiwi bird. She has been obsessed with them for two years now. This picture is a composite and was taken the day after her fifth birthday. On her birthday she had wished that kiwi was real, and that all of the kiwi birds would come to her house and live with her.

Obviously I could not get a kiwi bird for her and so instead, I decided to do a composite of what it would look like if they visited her. And so with one little bird that she had already had i began shooting the images.

Fifty images later and a couple of hours on photoshop I came up with this image and showed her. She was astonished, and so excited about the image. She began looking in the kitchen cupboards, under the couch for the kiwi birds that had visited her in this image.

I explained to her what I had done but she concluded that they outsmarted her and were hiding in the walls somewhere.
