We were parked in the shade, seats back enjoying a few minutes of shut eye when we heard rumbling behind us. Looking in the rear view mirrors I saw what looked like a wall of buffalo charging towards us. We thought that they were going to run into our car and take us into the river with them for sure. They ran past our car on both sides and then down the river bank to the place shown here. They then ran up the bank on the other side. We clicked away with our cameras and only at the end, when the dust started to settle did we see their motivation. Wow, what an experience.
