Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at lumsdale falls near Matlock in Derbyshire. I chose this location due to the numerous waterfalls for plenty of photographic opportunities

Time

It was taken at about 2pm

Lighting

This was taken with no extra lighting.

Equipment

I used a canon 760d and a sigma 18-250mm lens. It was also taken completely hand held

Inspiration

I was interested in taking long exposure photography and though I would try this technique.

Editing

I processed in Lightroom however the only change I made was lowering the exposure and straigtning

In my camera bag

I usually carry a canon 760d with sigma 18-250mm lens. A fujifilm xa2 with 16-50mm lens. A cpl filter and a cheap travel tripod

Feedback

Take your time to compose the shot. And don't be afraid to shoot out of your comfort zone. In order to get this shot I had to stand in the river. So think outside the box. Most of all have fun and be safe.
