My first attempt at Astrophotography - November 2014. You can see this through most binoculars on a clear night in the Fall and Winter.

Find Orion's belt - look down to his sword. Though you won't see the color with the naked eye. It looks like a grey blue smudge glow.

Taken in Borrego Springs during our annual Nightfall star party with our 6" Celestron telescope - the Great Orion Nebula never seems to disappoint.
