Behind The Lens

Location

Fort Bragg, California - Glass Beach.

Time

Early in the morning, maybe 6:00 AM.

Lighting

The sun was rising but it was still at low light.

Equipment

Canon 60D Lens: Canon 18-55mm No tripod No flash

Inspiration

I wanted a photo that would emphasize the amount of polished glass present on this beach.

Editing

Color manipulation, dodge and burn, sharpening.

In my camera bag

Canon60D Canon EFS 18-55mm Canon EF-S 10-22mm Canon EF 75-300mm Canon Compact-Macro Lens EF 50mm Canon EF 85mm

Feedback

Use long shutter speeds and close down the f-stops so you can get the full range of focus and blur out the waves on the shore.
