Location

This photo was taken in White Sands National Monument.

Time

It was nearing sunset when I took this shot.

Lighting

The lighting was pretty amazing with the shadows over the dunes and the sun behind the clouds..

Equipment

I used a Nikon D3100. Kit lens 18-55 with a CPL filter.

Inspiration

The beauty of the dunes with the mountains in the background and the lighting all inspired this shot.

Editing

I did some minor curve adjustment and denoising.

In my camera bag

Nikon D3100, kit lenses (18-55mm and 55-200mm). Cpl, lenscloth, lenshood, and sunscreen.
