At a food outlet where I spotted a male Crotaphytus collaris (Collared lizard) that escaped a zoology lab. Bachelor of science students use such reptiles as subjects in a number of studies of sexual selection. In captivity, if two males are placed in the same cage they will fight to death. Males have blue-green body, females have light-brown head and body.
