Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Haywood Community College. The mill Is located on the right as you drive onto the campus.

Time

I honestly do not remember the exact time of day, I expect it was mid afternoon judging by the little bit of blowout that you can see just above the roof of the mill. It was taken in February, 2016

Lighting

No artificial lighting was used, just the sky above. I am just an amateur photography and i have learned a lot more about lighting since I took this picture.

Equipment

Thisi was shot with a Canon 60d at f11, iso 200 shutter at 1/10. A tri pod was used.

Inspiration

I love landscape shots, and old buildings. This mill is not far from where I live so I decided to go over to the campus and take a few shots of the mill.

Editing

There was very little post processing with this shot, just a little color adjustment and sharping. I am an amateur photographer and still learning post processing.

In my camera bag

I carry the Canon 60d but have added a 6d full frame. For lenses I carry a 28-135 wide angle, a 70-300 zoom and a 50mm prime lense. I also carry extra batteries, sd cards and tripod. Also included is a 270exII flash and a Sunpak digiflach 3000.

Feedback

I don't think I am qualified to advise anyone but just keep shooting and practicing what you love..
