Took this on one of our many trips to Big Bay Beach. At sunset with Beautiful Table Mountain Cape Town in the background which never disappoints. It is one of the most beautiful & popular spots for photographers from all over the world to snap the most awesome shots of Table Mountain in the distance 22km across the Bay. Table Mountain, world famous for its table cloth of cloud on the flat top when the wind blows in the right direction.Time
Just after sunset as it was getting dark.Lighting
Lighting I suppose by accident. I'm just a happy snapper with the love of photography inherited from my ancestors who were photographers in the late 1800'sEquipment
Just me & my Samsung galaxy android camera.Used Panoramic mode. Best thing no stitching together. What you shoot is what you get!Inspiration
I glanced out of our beach house window to catch a glimpse of the trailing clouds....Clouds, I had come to realise, make the best sunset shots..... Mmmmm could be a good one tonight......Grabbed my Camera & ran to the beach fearing it was too late. Rounded the bend to see the most gorgeous sunset, people jogging...others just standing at the waves edge gazing into the distant sunset Imagination runs wild. Food for the soul! What a sight! Lifted my camera & took the pic.....Just in time as a sunset changes in seconds.Editing
I really would not have a clue how to do this. Hahaha! I'm just a Grannycam. In my camera bag
Always my trusted Samsung Galaxy android camera EK-GC100. Portable, auto with all the functions & awesome 21x zoom. What's app within seconds to the family group. Just Luvit!Feedback
Sunsets best after the sun has gone down. Leaves a glow in the sky & frames any object in front of it. Clouds in the sky add interest at sunset. I'm by no means an expert but just go out there, look & think carefully as you line up your shot. Enjoy every pic you take, look at every shot as if it's going to be the best you have ever taken. Always have your camera at the ready, have learn't my lesson on that one!!
