Behind The Lens

Location

This photone was taken at the Sea To Sky Gondola

Time

it was just breaking 6pm I beleive, the light was perfect

Lighting

the light hit the bridge perfectly, it was a very over cast day with a tad bit of snow flakes but was still great.

Equipment

at this point I still had my nikon d3100 but I have since upgraded to a nikon d300s, I used a Milano carbon fibre tripod

Inspiration

I see tons of photos of this bridge all the time I wanted to try and get creative and bring a new side of creativity to the table, considering I am only 15 years old I tried to impress with the photo.

Editing

yes I added a bit of contrast, white balance adjustment and clarity.

In my camera bag

I cary a 50mm f1.8, a 70-300 nikkor and the standard kit lens 18-55.. I use the nikon d300s for my camera and I use my Milano M4-CF5SQR Tripod completely carbon fibre with an upgraded head. I always have my Sony vaio computer at hand for quick editing and positing and I use 2 different shutter releases. I Cary 2 extra batteries and a set of Neutral density filters.

Feedback

for me really it's about solidarity. the shot has to be completely empty with no people in it. frame the shot perfect with the proper composition and you have a keeper!
