This is one of a series of pictures that I took of a Boeing Stearman model 75 primary flight trainer as it was preparing to take off from the Winter Haven, Florida Airport. This antique aircraft is owned by Preston Aviation and was the primary flight training airplane of the military from just prior to WWII until about the end of the Korean war.
