Behind The Lens

Location

Glad you like it! This is a Picture I have taken a couple of years ago in Germany, North-Rhine-Westphalia, not far away from where I'm living on a little walk. As you can see, there is a large field in the foreground that belongs to a farmer.

Time

If I remember correctly, it was at the beginning of the year of 2018... during the golden hour.

Lighting

I really love the light of the golden hour it is always a magical light to photograph.

Equipment

This was photographed with my Nikon D3300 and the 18-55 Kit Lens if I remember correctly. I also shot this from a tripod because I wanted to create a long exposure.

Inspiration

I always get inspired by the moment when I'm out in the nature.

Editing

Yes, I shot this Image in RAW to have the most control about it so yeah there was definitely some post-processing ;)

In my camera bag

When I go out hiking I try to have the lightest gear with me... usually my Fuji X-T2 and my 16-80, but that is not every time the case... it really depends on what I want to do... sometimes I have a lot of ideas and want to implement all this I have to bring my BIG Bag pack with a Drone, Gimbal for Video shooting, tripod different lenses etc... because you never know... yeah it is fun ;)

Feedback

Try to see the moment. sometimes you have to return to a place more often to photograph the desired result. The light in the morning and evening usually looks the most beautiful, if in addition great clouds are in the sky it is often even better. But also in the midday sun can make great photos or rainy days... as you can see there is a lot to discover and that is one of the many things I like about landscape/nature photography. But the most important thing is to have fun! :)
