Behind The Lens

Location

This image is of a garlic scape. We grow them in the yard to use in cooking. I took this photo in my yard in Milwaukee,WI.

Time

I shot this early in the morning.

Lighting

I love to use the ambient light. This was very early in the morning and the sun is low in the sky.

Equipment

Canon T2 with a Tamron 70-300mm lens

Inspiration

The Garlic Scapes grow at twist themselves into very interesting shapes.

Editing

This is as it was shot no post-processing.

In my camera bag

I have since moved up to a Canon T7 with the same lenses. I have also added a Canon SX 70HS. I love the SX70 for it's lightweight and very impressive zoom capabilities/

Feedback

I metered on the lightest part of the image.
