Late night wandering around the Wakatipu basin, NZ. I found out tonight that a local mountain biker had died, 33 years old and famous, admired in the local community and a very friendly regular at my workplace. Kelly McGarry is most famous for his backflip over a 72ft canyon gap in the Red Bull Rampage. This picture, with a bright moon over the Remarkables mountain range made me think of him as soon as I took it, a bright light in the local community, one that will never be forgotten.
