I really love taking pictures of the moon, especially when it is just rising. It's always a special atmosphere with the sky not completely dark and the yellowish colour of the moon.Equipment
I used a Canon PowerShot SX240 HS without a tripod or flash. I prefer small cameras as you can take them with you all the time without having to carry heavy gear.Inspiration
I just loved the way the moon seemed to be sitting on top of the "needle", the obelisk at Ramsgate Harbour.Editing
I usually improve the contrast a bit with Photoshop Elements.In my camera bag
The equipment I usually have on me are either my Canon PowerShot SX240 HS or my Canon PowerShot SX410 IS. Sometimes even it is just my Canon Ixus 105.Feedback
Just keep your eyes open and you'll spot things worth taking a photo of every day. I have a camera on me whenever I go out.
