Thank you! Maddi has been on some print media and other things. Check out the Hallmark dog ornament box for 2016 this summer. She's on the front of the box. She loves the camera. :)

Location
I took this image in my family room. I had a plain white background draped from a door. I had lots of props and also treats to the side to reward this sweet beauty!Time
I took this photo during the morning in a room that gets a lot of natural light. Nothing very special about the time regarding the subject herself as Maddi is always smiling!Lighting
This is pure natural lighting. In a room well flooded with natural light, Maddi sat patiently in front of the white backdrop. It just all came together with her natural loving smile, colorful hat flower and of course, the beads.Equipment
This image was shot with a Canon Rebel T4i. ISO 160, 27mm, f 4, 1/40. EFS 18-135 lens.Inspiration
Maddi has done some "modeling" since the age of 7 weeks and she loves the camera. She is featured on 3 Hallmark Greeting Cards and has been in a lot of other print media. I have taken all the photos for these and I know her patience and limits for getting images that reflect her kind and loving soul. She is always rewarded with cheese or peanut butter. This image was taken in the hopes of getting an image for a Mother's Day card I wanted to develop. A classic hat and pearls..... that's one side of Maddi. The other is the tomboy, squirrel and bunny chasing gal! :)Editing
The only post processing done was adding a frame and some very minor sharpening and saturation adjustment. In my camera bag
I generally use my Canon Rebel T4i. I have a Canon EFS 55-250mm, a Canon 1:2.8 USM Macro and a Canon 50mm 1:1.4 Prime. I also enjoy using my 80mm clear globe ball when I remember to bring that along. I recently purchased a Nikon Coolpix P900 and I am having fun with the zoom!Feedback
Photography with animals is often an unpredictable adventure! Patience is paramount! Always have on hand a highly motivating reinforcement which may be a great treat, favorite toy or new squeaker toy. Knowing your pet and its interests and what it reacts to will help in creating an atmosphere where you might get lucky to get the shot you are aiming for. Just know that some of the images you aren't necessarily aiming for often end up being some of the best images! Make a connection with your subject and shoot away! Then reward, reward, reward and you too may end up with a happy model willing to pose anytime you are ready!
