Behind The Lens

Location

A hostel located on the coast of Half Moon Bay CA

Time

I would say roughly 4-6 pm.

Lighting

We went for a short hike after the sun decided to poke it's head out after a foggy morning. The light on the cliffs and greenery was stunning!

Equipment

I only used my 35mm Minolta film camera. No flash, tripod or any fancy equipment.

Inspiration

I've always been drawn to the coast, half my family lives there. It was one of my last visits seeing my grandmother before she passed away, so we made sure to take in all the beauty together.

Editing

I did not, I'm not too familiar with any editing equipment, so once they are developed from the negatives, it is what it is :) and I like that.

In my camera bag

Generally just my camera, depending on what I'm shooting, I have my macro lense and flash equipment as well as a few spare rolls of film. Since changing lens is difficult with film photography, I tend to try my best to keep it simple.

Feedback

Find something that catches your eye, and find the perfect angle. You'll know it when you see it :)
