The Yaghan are one of the indigenous peoples of the Southern Cone, who are regarded as the southernmost peoples in the world, living in the islands south of Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego. The Yaghan were traditionally nomads , who were hunters-gatherers, and they moved from an island to another to collect food, hunting sea lions and collecting shellfish. Despite the extremely cold climate in which they lived, early Yaghan wore little to no clothing until after their extended contact with Europeans; still they were able to survive the harsh climate.
