Location
I was walking through Paris with my wife and daughter. It was a fall afternoon and I was capturing bits and pieces of the city with my Leica. I turned around and the iconic Eiffel Tower was right behind me. I hadn't seen it from this angle before.Time
It was an early fall day getting close to the golden hourLighting
This was shot with all natural light at the golden hour.Equipment
This was shot on a Leica digilux 2. One of their first digital camera. The shot was hand heldInspiration
Whenever I see this image I am reminded how I was excited to see such an iconic landmark from a completely different perspective. It seemed to blend in perfectly with the urban neighborhood apartment buildings that were framing it.Editing

I like to carry my Leica to shoot in B&W. I also keep 2 canon bodies, a20D and a 5 D mark II with a number of lenses. My favorites are a 70-200 IS and 15-35 wide angle zoomFeedback
Just being aware of your surroundings and planning you walks in any city around the golden hour can result in great images.
