Location
This photo was taken in the spring on Jekyll Island GA the exact location is called driftwood beachTime
It was very early morning. I wanted to make sure I didn't miss one moment of sunrise. Just me and the pesky gnats!!Lighting
I was floored by the sunrise and the light that came off of it. The colors seem to evolve slowly changing color and tone. I had to be quick about the shot to get just what I wanted fortunately there were endless opportunities that morningEquipment
I see a Canon 6D my man from to tripod with a Sirui bullhead. The shot is a timed exposure to smooth out the water and create the sense of just the old live oak in the waterInspiration
I had been wanting get to shoot here for some time. The combination of the driftwood and the sunrise was so eyeing I just had to try to captureEditing
Slight. Cleaned up so.early dust. Popped color just a bit.In my camera bag
I keep my camera with the 24-105. 17-40L ND filters.Feedback
Driftwood be a huge has so many opportunities for spectacular images. It one of the more popular spots along the GA coast. Make sure to plan out your shot. Take your time. I used Google Earth to look at the location and preplanned where I wanted to shoot.
