I just hate this when it happens. Ours likes the short trash cans and goers for the tissues. Great caught in the act shot! Who Me!

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this in the apartment I shared with my Mom in Dallas, TX. Jacques was in my bedroom being way to quiet.

Time

I believe it was early evening on a weekend because I was home.

Lighting

It is all natural lighting so just the light coming through the blinds.

Equipment

I was using a Canon Powershot SX40 HS, the aperture was f/4 with an ISO of 1000 and shutter speed was 1/20.

Inspiration

I had actually just finished downloading a bunch of images off the memory card and was heading through the office to my bedroom to put up my camera when I came upon Jacques, who at the time was still a puppy, tearing up a roll of toilet paper. I couldn't resist taking a picture of him, with that "I didn't do it" look on his face. Jacques is a Cocker Spaniel and very photogenic, he loves to have his photo taken.

Editing

This photo is exactly as it was taken. I didn't have to do a thing to it.

In my camera bag

I am pretty simple with my equipment. I use just the camera and whatever light is naturally available. It can make things difficult to capture but then sometimes you just get lucky.

Feedback

If you are taking photos of your pets keep it short and be prepared to take a lot of pictures to find that perfect one. Treats and some toys can be helpful to keep their attention. Then there are just going to be those times when you round the corner and are just super happy that you happen to have your camera in your hand.
