Behind The Lens

Location

My photo here was shot in Warren, Pa. Betts park which is a great place to relax, walk around, they have softball in the warmer months, fireworks, overall place to get away.

Time

It was later in the day, almost sunset when I parked my truck. The light was changing so much & I kept moving to get the right colors & shot in the photo.

Lighting

Again, the lighting was there yet the sunset started out plain, then the colors started slowly coming out. I knew it most likely wouldn't last long.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D3200 with an 18-55mm lens

Inspiration

Just the colors that were growing with the sun setting. The clouds & also the river.

Editing

Just a lil bit of saturation, think I cropped just a bit, nothing too crazy.

In my camera bag

Depends on the moment. As of typing this, I know have a Nikon D500 along with my Nikon D3200. I have 5 lenses, 50mm, 18-55mm, 16-300mm, 18-80mm & a Tamron 150-600mm.

Feedback

Take your time & watch the sky for ever changing features. Make sure your ready since most times, the scene will only be like a minute or so & you may miss it. Research your area & weather to get the most out of a photo. You may not get the right shot now, but there will be more, just keep goiong to the same spot & watching the skies along with the landscape. You will capture the right one when you feel it.
