This is my "Tiny Patch" created by my late wife Pam, although she had many debilitating diseases, she loved her little garden and I did any heavy work for her, following her instructions to the letter, we moved to our ground floor flat in the year 2000, the whole block of 16 flats had been completely rebuilt for people over the age of 55 years, more importantly had many features that made it possible for people who suffered from many disabilities to live in complete comfort with a wet room as a shower and toilet combined, large Living room and Bedroom plus a well designed Kitchen, what more could you ask for than a little manageable garden space, unfortunately the builders had buried all the brickbats and associated rubbish, so it meant pots etc for the plants until enough earth in the form of Grow-bags could be put on top over a period of time, she grew some beautiful plants, trees and bushes, which included rare Black Bamboo, Zebra Plant, Japanese Maple Tree, a beautiful Camellia, Cherry & Victoria Plum Trees and several beautiful varieties of Roses, Pam unfortunately passed in May 2013 and although no new plants have been added since then, everything comes up each year in glorious testimony to her dedication.Time
Going from the shadows it would have been fairly late afternoon as we get the Summer Sun all day long from 5 am and well into the evening, it is quite hard to keep a good lawn as not enough life giving air flows through, partly my fault for putting a Bamboo in a large pot to put over a large manhole cover.Lighting
The natural sunlight was absolutely spot on for me.Equipment
I wish I could say I took an awful amount of time and trouble with an expensive camera to take this picture, but I admit it was taken with my Samsung S7 mobile phone with a 16 megapixel auto-focus camera, It is possible to play about with various filters and gizmo's, but I liked it just the way it turned out.Inspiration
A fitting tribute to my late wife's handiwork to share on Social Media and for all her many friends to appreciate.Editing
