Went to a tribal village in Araku Valley to distribute Solar lamps. These people have absolutely no light in their area and live in darkness every night. They were very happy to receive the solar lights that will help them have a brighter night everyday.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a tribal village in Araku Valley, Andhra Pradesh, India

Time

It was taken at night

Lighting

There was absolutely no light in the village and we were using torch lights to reach the place.

Equipment

I used my mobile phone and torch light to capture the photo

Inspiration

The simplicity of the tribal people and their lifestyle inspired me to capture the moment

Editing

No. I have not done any post processing

In my camera bag

Most of my photographs have been clicked with my mobile. Now I have bought a camera to click photos better

Feedback

Capturing the light correctly is very important. Often we end up clicking pictures that are over exposed and the pictures turn out blurred or with less precision. Decide what part of the surroundings you want to click. Check the light falling on the object and which angle will be perfect to capture the picture. Adjust your camera settings accordingly and click the photograph. Amateur photographs are something to learn from. Keep clicking various photographs, study them and aim to get better with the next ones you click. Being innovative and impromptu with available resources at hand is the best way to get your pictures right. No 2 photographs are same. So keep at it.
