Playing Around 2

I was testing the light on a cloudy day to take some pictures of my neighbors and their extended family, because the parents-grandparents were able to come visit from another country for the first time in 13 years. I had two willing models playing around and letting me take their pictures. They are such cuties. This particular neighbor girl has a special story. Doctors aren't positive, but she shows signs of being somewhere on the autism spectrum. She is almost 6 and doesn't communicate except for syllables, grunts, and points. Although she has trouble communicating and interacting because of her undiagnosed issues that cause her frustration, that doesn't stop her from being happy and joyful a lot of times and sharing this beautiful smile with me. She likes technology and likes having her picture taken :) Being in a wheelchair myself and having lost my voice after being ill two different times for extended periods, I can empathize with what she is going through. She still always has a hug ready for me!
