Thank you so much! I truly do appreciate it.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Allegany, NY. on my way to work. As you can see it was very cold that day.

Time

It was just around 11am

Lighting

I thought the snow blowing across the street made an eerie scene.

Equipment

I took this with my Nokia Lumia 1020

Inspiration

The way the snow and ice looked on the road in addition to the snow blowing across, just thought it looked way to cool to not snap a picture.

Editing

I ran it through a hdr app to make the snow and ice pop off the screen more and give it that eerie look.

In my camera bag

I always always carry my Canon T5i as my primary, then I have a Samsung WB350F point and shoot if I don't feel like grabbing my DSLR. And I always have my cell phone camera on me, you know just incase.

Feedback

It definitely helps to just happen to be at the right place at the right time. Just take pictures that you think look cool, and then tinker around with them. You can never take too many photos.
