Location
I took this photo while vacationing in KeyWest Florida with my husband for our anniversary .Time
I was absolutely loving the natural lighting during the pre dusk evenings . I just had to go to down to the shore just before sunset and take a photo of the perfect glow of sunlight on the ocean. The boat was an added surprise .Lighting
I wanted the solitude and peacefulness of the sunlight bouncing gently off the waves of the ocean. Natural lighting, I feel is always best. Natural lighting makes objects come alive as if one was able to touch the object through the photo. When I take photos of people for example in Natural lighting I can feel their joy, their tears, anticipation etc..Equipment
Canon 40D with a Canon zoom lens .Inspiration
My inspirations for each one of my photos are quite different depending on what I see, feel, smell and I let that surround me as I take the shot. This particular photo I could feel the warmth of sun , the smell of the ocean, and the softness of the air on my skin. I knew wanted the photo.Editing
NoIn my camera bag
I usually carry my favorite camera the Canon 40D and my Canon zoom lens EF 100-400mm and a Canon 28-90mm lens.Feedback
While it is somewhat hard to explain why one takes a certain photo and how one feels at that time. I always give the same advice . I take a photo because I see it, I like it, I feel it and I take it. Your mood, your inner feels , and your vision of interest is like having a third eye. The most important thing is to have fun and enjoy taking photos.
