My grandfather places his hands on the American Flag and pays respects to the men and women who are fighting and who have sacrificed their lives for our great country. My grandfather was a WW2 vet. He was part of the 148th Engineer Combat Battalion. He was on the front lines and he helped build the Rhine Bridge over the Rhine River in Germany. He was a great hero and was a great friend.
