I looked at the Holocaust for this image, through my research i found that million had been killed and i wanted to make an image that depicted the many faces, i experimented a lot with different media and techniques until i came up with a few that were striking. This piece was a more in detail look than the others i did. It was larger than the three in the photograph.

Location
This photo was taken in my parents house. They have a Small back hall cupboard (old coal storage) which i had used as a project for college.Time
This photo was taken in the early evening. It was too light during the day so i wanted to get it a little darker.Lighting
It was all natural lighting, i didn’t want it too dark, nor too light so timing was key. (With help from the built in flash)Equipment
This image was actually taken on a canon powershot A470 which was the only camera i owned at the time. It was a built in flash as i didn’t have any other equipment.Inspiration
This photo was taken solely to document and add to the body of work i did for a project on the holocaust.Editing
NoneIn my camera bag
Each time i take different equipment depending on what i want to shoot! I usually always have my trusty Canon EOS 400D which i have used to shoot most of my photographs.Feedback
Definitely play about with lighting as this can drasticly change the look of a photograph and give a completely different meaning.
