For many generations the care of our country's freedoms, liberties and strengths have been protected by men and women who dawn the uniform and are willing to sacrifice it all, or have sacrificed everything. So, when one of them is able to retire, its a very special day and moment. Something certainly worth capturing the memory for more than a lifetime. The passing of the Flag ceremony is a time honored tradition among the military that signifies the gratitude of our nation to the retiring soldier, sailor, airman, or marine and signifies in essence a changing of the guard. A beautiful thing to see and experience.
