Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at the home of some friends who had just got their baby. It was a natural light shooting.

Time

It was in the afternoon, enough sunlight through the windows, so no additional light was needed.

Lighting

It was not my first baby shooting, but one of the most relaxing ones. The baby was so quiet and really cooperative :)

Equipment

At this time I was using a beginner camera a Nikon D5300 with a 50mm 1.8. No Flash only Reflectors

Inspiration

It was my second baby shooting, and it was the challenge, to get photos of someone which is not doing what you want :)

Editing

Yes, I did some Postprocessing, but only in Lightroom and just like in all my other photos, I only adjust the exposure. I do not use Photoshop.

In my camera bag

At the Moment I'm shooting with a Sony A7 or Sony A7 II, with 24-70 or Sony FE 85mm. Sometimes I use a Vintage Lens like the Minolta MD50mm. Since a few months, I'm also using a DJI Drone which is constantly in my Shooting Bag.

Feedback

Sometimes parts of a composition give you more feeling than the whole composition. Also, I like to show a contrast in my photos (which is here not the case)
