While in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, we spotted this chameleon and our guide was so scared of them and would not go near it, until our 9 year old son picked it up. Once he saw that everything was ok and it could not harm you and it was ok the hold it he held it, and this was the first time he had ever touched one so it was amazing to see his smile. ( The locals in this area are told so many myths and story about the Chameleon that if they ever see one they ether run away or kill it, so it was nice to see that from that moment on he would not be scared of them)
