Ruta 40 is a route in western Argentina running parallel to the Andes mountains. It's the longest route in Argentina and one of the longest in the world, more than 5000 km long. At its southern end it crosses 20 national parks, 18 rivers and 27 passes on the Andes. This picture was taken on the road from El Calafate to El Chalten.
