One of my fave subjects and deffo one of my fave places. The ruined Cistercian Abbey at Valle Crucis just north of the village of Llangollan in North Wales. Founded and built in 1201 and dissolved at the behest of King Henry VIII in 1537. The abbey stands on farm land in an idilic river valley in the rolling hills of Clwyd.
