This photo was taken on Veteran’s Day 2014. We set aside one day a year to commemorate our veterans. We owe an unspeakable about of gratitude to men and women who put on the uniform and stand in the gap risking life and limb for our freedom, safety and security. When we sing our National Anthem and the words “Land of the free and home of the Brave” the song is talking about men and women like this man. Veterans are our National Hero’s. One day a year is never enough of a “thank you” for the people that have sacrificed so much.
