Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo from my backyard because I loved the logs in the veiw of the body of water that is a popalar place to fish for us all.

Time

I am thinking it's in the afternoon of a lazy sunday. I love taking photos on sunday or sitting back to edit a recent photoshoot.

Lighting

I loved how the sun shone on the river and you could see all the ripples highlighted bring a shimmer to them. Also the reflection from the sun on the leaves makes it look like they are gold on this fall day!

Equipment

I have since updated my camera but thinking it was shot with my Canon T3. I might have used a tripod. Lens I am thinking it was 75 to 300 4.5 aperature.

Inspiration

I went out and looked down to the river and saw a red dress, than I knew it was one of my best friends fishing there. I also saw the logs that look great in the photo so I ran into my house for my my camera incase my friend was leaving there. I showed it to her afterwards and she loved it right away. She is also a photographer.

Editing

Just basic edit in lightroom with alot of clarity because it's a scenery.

In my camera bag

Right now it is mostly my Canon T6i and my 50mm lens.

Feedback

Wait for great lighting and shoot away. Regularly I try to avoid the1 pm mark when the sun is too high.
