I took this photo while on the crossing of regents street london, I only had a couple of seconds as it was really busy and there was a lot of trafficTime
It was around dinner time, a couple of days before Christmas so there was a lot of shoppers out getting last minute presentsLighting
It was in December, it was quite cold outside and very cloudy but still bright. It would have been nice to have a little sun coming through the clouds, but I'm happy with how it turned outEquipment
For the picture I used a Pentax k3 with the 16-50 f2.8 sdm lens handheldInspiration
I went to London for the day shopping and thought I'd take some photos whilst I was there, I was stood in the middle of the road waiting for the traffic lights to change so it was only a quick oppertunity to try and get something with the Christmas decorations and a London bus all in one pictureEditing
I normally import into Lightroom and have a play with the sliders but with this photo I used photoshop to change to black and white the used the colour picker to make the bus red, I then took it back into Lightroom to change the exposure slightlyIn my camera bag
I normally only have my camera and a 24-70 f2.8, and 70-200 f2.8Feedback
While walking round London there's lots of oppertunitys to get great photos but it's the less obvious places where I think you can get great different and unique photos
