Liophis reginae , such an interesting and beautiful snake! I found it by spotting the tiny tip of it's tail sticking out from leaf litter on the forest floor.

When picked up it spread a hood but refused to bite at all. Surprisingly difficult-frustrating to photograph, it never sat still and continuously hid its head under it's body.Such a cool species! Would have loved to have more time to photograph it!
