Behind The Lens

Location

This image is of the "G M Building" and the reflection of it's lights on the Detroit River, as seen from the Windsor, Ontario waterfront. This is perhaps the most popular photo subject in this area.

Time

This image was shot around 11 pm on an unseasonably mild and calm December evening.

Lighting

I used no flash or special lighting or reflector, I just tried to capture the reflection.

Equipment

I used my Canon EOS 60 D and a tripod.

Inspiration

I highlighted the red and amber lights to suggest the cheery Christmas spirit as this image was shot in December.

Editing

As best as I remember, this image is as shot.

In my camera bag

I have my Canon EOS 60 D with an 18-200 mm lens.

Feedback

I held my breath as steady as possible when depressing the shutter release, but I think a remote trigger would have helped with image clarity.
