The photo was taken in Sacromonte, near Milan during an Erasmus Reunion, since I'm mainly a street photographer, nothing was prepared and I was just playing around with lines and perspective, than in post production i realized that I really liked the overall result of the photograph.Time
I think it was close to dusk in a November day, like 5/6 in the afternoon.Lighting
Not really, just natural light in an Autumn dusk. No filters or strange things, as said nothing was planned :)Equipment
At that time I had a Nikon D3300 and a Nikkor 18-300, i was travelling a lot so it was my main setup.Inspiration
Good question....basically the walls on the left and right sides, i thought: ''wow, they are pointing exactly to the church, it could be funny to play with perspective''. I was a newbie at that time and some months before I read ''the photographer's eye book'', guess i was just messing around with some theory tips i had read there.Editing
Yes, just a quick crop and optimization of levels /colors and tones in lightroom and Nik Collection. In my camera bag
It tends to change overtime, but one time i had the chance to meet a really important italian photographer and he gave me a tip: ''you have to shoot with what you already have, having 3000 lens and cameras is not that useful in the end''. Now I have just one camera the Nikon 3300 and 2 lenses, the 18/300 for street and travel and a sigma 35/1.4 for portraits. I also have flashes, remotes and triggers but they are not usually in my bag, the less, the better :)Feedback
Pratical/technical tips? Not really, but in my experience i can say that spontaneous shots are almost always better than planned or awaited ones. Always try to keep everything natural, easygoing and unplanned when shooting. Belive in what your eyes like, since too many times photographers (me in first place) loose time with theory, lighting and technical stuff, loosing the most important thing: what we're really looking at and what inspired us.
