Desert Center, California. Population 204 back in 2010 and I can see why. Town was founded in 1921 it had the Family Cafe which said it was open 24 hours. Also had a service garage for travelers with car trouble. The town also had cabins for travelers to stay in while car was being fixed. A lot of history behind this town.

Spent the morning in the ghost town at Rhyolite NV. Mining town from 1902, it's said it's rise was as fast as it demise. The ore mines closed in 1911.
