Behind The Lens

Location

This photo taken on The Pine forest garden in Mae Tang. Chiang Mai, Thailand. This place is the pine forest research area. But it's free for normal people to visit the forest area.

Time

Early morning in winter time (November - January in Chiang Mai is the best) if you want to get the sunrise.

Lighting

I choose the lens that can create the beautiful sun stars effect. and before shooting I walking around to check the shadow of the trees that making beautiful shot for me.

Equipment

Nikon D750 with Nikon 20 f/1.8G

Inspiration

I saw many of sunrise photos in Chiang Mai. But I never see the photo from this place before. So I want to get the new place sunset shot in my home town.

Editing

I put more contrast and saturation to get more colourful, get shadow to see the detail in the dark area, put a little bit vignette to get more bright in the middle.

In my camera bag

fix 50mm and one wide-angle lens, I my choice 20mm Nikon is one of the best Nikon lens I ever use.

Feedback

Don't forget to see around the area that you go to take photo. It's sure that the sunrise is your main subject. but the object or something that happen around you can make your photo look better!
