Used for ages on the High Seas, a sextant was an early tool to help navigate the oceans. This is one that I keep in my home.

Because someone told me this one would look good upside down. So, here it is. The water drops that defied gravity. :)

Just a close up of a water lilly and some post-processing with shadows.

The milkweed was just opening its seed pod to distribute the seeds to the wind. The bug added a bit of color. I could not pass this up on my walk.

I had no clue that lichen could produce tiny flowers (or what appear to be flowers to me).

My favorite blended scotch. I prefer single malts, but this one deserves exception as it is quite good.

I wanted to go back to yesteryear with this shot. I tried to emulate what might have been done in the early days of film photography.
