My dad has a HUGE garage, and one day I decided to take my camera for a spin in there. While I was in there, I found what I could only describe as rolls of plastic fencing material. So I took the smallest roll of it, and unrolled it out on a piece of wood. I wanted to give the appearance of an open tunnel.Time
I remember taking this picture when I got home from a long day of classes, so most likely around 5:30, but in the springtime, so the sun was higher up in the sky. It 's one of my favorite times of year, so I actually got a bunch of really good pictures that day.Lighting
Everything about that day was cloudy, my mood, the sky, even the trees were kinda gloom. I think that's why my picture turned out the way it did, in my opinion, sort of dark, yet completely optimistic.Equipment
I took with with my Nikon D-3300.Inspiration
Honestly? A combination of boredom and being pissed off. I'm always taking pictures, but what I take pictures of and HOW I take them revolve alot around my emotional state at the time. I feel like that how alot of creative people are.Editing
Actually, no, I didn't. I try not to use photoshop unless I want my picture to look morphed or edited. I like my pictures to remain natural. How they come out is how they were meant to be, how the picture wanted to come out.... unless the camera is being a pain and not working right, then the problem is with me hahaIn my camera bag
In my camera bag, I always carry my camera- a Nikon D3300- my baby haha, I bring my tripod with me, but I don't really use it as often as I really should. Oh and a cigar! Don't ask me why- I dont even smoke, It just brings me good luck.Feedback
Just work with what you got, great pictures take time, be patient. Sometimes I can take 100 pictures of the same thing until I get one that I'm absolutely in love with.
