Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a small grassy area near a canal in my home town.

Time

Taken on an early June evening.

Lighting

I wasn't trying to do anything special with the lighting.

Equipment

Nikon D7100 wit a Nikon f-2.8 50mm lens

Inspiration

We were doing a shoot with a few clothing changes and then I pulled out this T-Shirt and ripped it after not liking the first shots with it whole.

Editing

Post processing started in light room to get lighting a little better and then went to Portrait Pro to smooth her skin, sharpen her eyes and fine tune the lighting.

In my camera bag

Always have my D7100 and most times an old Nikon 18-200 zoom but pack the 50mm or 17-55 zoom for model shoots. A Nikon 910 or 700 flash also.

Feedback

Try not to get the lighting too harsh. Use a fill light or reflector if needed.
